Siskin River (Shalane & Tullara) hail from Ramornie -the quiet, forgotten countryside on the outskirts of Grafton NSW. The pair dubbed themselves ‘Siskin River’ in the December summer of 2011 and set out on the road, writing, composing, and booking as they go. During three years of non-stop touring, the sisters have taken ‘Cabin Fever’ to brave new heights, living and working out the back of their trusty wagon “The Siskimobile”. Starting out on the Australian pub circuit, the pair honed their craft whilst learning how to connect with drunken audiences, and soon enough found themselves featuring at an astounding number of music festivals and venues across Australia. Following two EP releases, their much anticipated (long awaited) DEBUT ALBUM ‘The Hours They Keep’ was finally released in August 2014.

Siskin River are 100% self-managed, booked, distributed, and nurtured. We’re always on the lookout for a helping hand, so please get in touch via email if you have any queries/offers. xx
